How to find an advisor: There are various types of advisors at FSU. Some academic advisors are members of Advising First, and others may be department advisors or staff or faculty of the college or department of your major. A list of advisors and their availability can be found at the Advisor Search. Use the dropdown menus at the top of the page to isolate the list. If you do not see an advisor for the major of interest, please contact the dean’s office of the college for additional assistance.

How to schedule an appointment with an advisor: Most advisors use the Campus Connect platform to schedule advising appointments and store notes. If an advisor is using Campus Connect, students can access the platform by logging into their myFSU portal and clicking on the CC icon. If the advisor is in Campus Connect, students can schedule an appointment by using the tutorial below. For advisors who are not in Campus Connect, students can request an appointment using the contact information located on the Advisor Search.

Students can access their advising session notes by logging into the Campus Connect platform and following these quick steps: 

• Go to myFSU and click on Campus Connect ‘CC’ icon 
• On the home page, click ‘Reports’
