Lower Division Transfer Students

Depending on your academic map progression, lower-division transfer students might be able to change their major, but it is important to discuss your options with an advisor first. To do so, please contact an academic advisor in the major you wish to change into. You can locate an advisor via the FSU Advisor Search at http://advisor.undergrad.fsu.edu/.

Upper Division Transfer Students

Upon applying to FSU, upper-division transfer students are admitted directly into their academic program. Due to this, it is typically not possible to change your major without reapplying to the University.
