Degree In Three is a special program designed to assist students who wish to graduate in three years or less. While all students are welcome to explore this path, Degree in Three is typically best for students who enter Florida State with college credit earned through AP, IB, AICE, or dual enrollment.
Garnet and Gold Scholar Society Advising
Students participating in the Garnet and Gold Scholar Society Program work with an Overall Program Advisor in their completion of the program. Students will pick an advisor at the time they apply for the program. Students should contact their assigned Overall Program Advisor if they have questions as they progress through the requirements.
In addition to meeting with an academic advisor in their major of choice, students in the Honors Program will need to meet with the Honors advisor to ensure they meet all program requirements.
International Programs Advising
Meet with an International Programs Advisor about studying or interning abroad at one of FSU’s four Study Centers or about participating in one of our faculty-led programs across the globe.

Students interested in national fellowship opportunities should contact ONF, which provides information and support throughout the application process for undergraduates to pursue fellowships for engaged learning, international experiences, research, and more. Through one-on-one mentoring and direct application assistance, the office helps students to identify and achieve their academic, public service, creative, and leadership goals.
Students on the FSU Panama City campus should meet with an advisor located in the Chapman Family Foundation Center for Academic Advising and Student Success.
Students interested in attending a post-baccalaureate health professional school can meet with an advisor to ensure to prepare for the application process, as well as ensure they are taking the correct courses for their professional school of interest. Students interested in taking the LSAT and attending law school can meet with an academic advisor to help them navigate the process. Students are encouraged to go to the link above to learn more about preparing for a career in law.
In addition to meeting with their major academic advisor, student athletes need to meet with their assigned academic advisor in the Student Athlete Academic Services office. A list of advisors can be found at the link above.
Student-veterans are encouraged to get connected with the Student Veterans Center. Students using veteran benefits to pay for classes may have additional steps to take to ensure their degree progress aligns with the policies and processes of their benefits. Student veterans should contact the Student Veterans Center semesterly and any time there is a change in courses or student status.
